Weekend layout share

It's still raining where I am at the moment so I'm going to make the most of it with scrapping and creating!

Anyway here's two layouts I did recently. Pretty girly than my usual style but I do quite love them!

See you soon!

Card share

I used to think that buying 6x6 paper pads would be okay. Err apparently not if you don't use them much! LOL So in the spirit of stash busting, I've been making some more cards. Especially with papers I don't usually use on layouts.

Here's two I made yesterday which I quite like! So girly!

(Papers - My Mind's Eye, Sentiment and die set - My Favorite Things, Pearls - Papermania, Doily - Creative Craft World)

(Papers - Dear Lizzy Neapolitan (AmCrafts), Sentiment - Lawn Fawn, Hearts stamp - SJ Little Musings)

It's been raining for the past week. The rain reminds me so much of home especially when there's thunder but I think I've had enough! C'mon Mr Sun come out come out wherever you are! Well he did show his face for about a minute or two today so I'm thankful for that.

Hope it's sunny where you are!

Shaped cards

I'm still pretty much a novice in cardmaking (sometimes I think layouts are easier! LOL) but I've been trying out my skills.

I'm currently taking an online class at Onlinecardclasses.com The regular instructors include my fave Jennifer McGuire and Kristina Werner plus other awesome guests instructors.

I recently tried shaped cards cut using my spellbinders nestabilities and here's what I came up with.

There are other classes that you can choose and they're not only for cardmaking. I loved 'Inspiration showcase' because loads of techniques were taught via videos too!! With lifetime access I think it's worth the money!

Anyway I'll leave you with the cards I made before I start to ramble further!

I'm back

Sincere apologies from moi on the sudden hiatus.

It's just that we've had to move to a new apartment (with really short notice) so you can imagine the flurry of activity I was in. We've sort of settled in the new place now (at least my craft room's ready lol)

Anyway to catch up on things, I'm sure you've seen the DTs lovely creations for the April mini kit and also the new April scrap map is up (you can view it at the top right corner there). I also had the opportunity to work with the lovely, lovely April kit.

The papers are from Pink Paislee's 'Prairie Hill' collection and oh how I love them! The muted colours with added vintage flair was perfect to go with black and white photos OR with muted coloured photos that you can easily edit with a lot of available apps =)

Here's one I particularly like -

If you're a subscriber, hope you have fun with the kit!

You can also purchase these bargain kits (at only £9.99) as one-offs too. They provide just the ample amount of paper, cardstock and embellishments to gear up your mojo - love that!

I have a couple of layouts to share so hopefully I'll be back soon!

Don't forget to join in on the challenges here.

Till then =)
