CCW Card Challenge

Hi all!

It's CCW card challenge day and this time the theme is 'Anything but birthdays'.

Our sponsors are Robyn's Fetish and I've chosen a lovely trio of flowers.

Here's my take and I've chosen to create a 'thank you' card.

I did some background stamping with texts and some simple colouring. Love the outcome.

Hope you'll play along and have some fun!

Ribbon Reel sketch challenge

Hello,

It's been quite a while since I joined any card/scrapbook challenges. Anyway for Ribbon reel's sketch challenge, here's what I made with some delicious Basic Grey 'Sweet Threads' paper line. I love the happy, girly colours here. Not my usual palette in layouts but love to use them in cards
.
See you again soon!

Layouts

I've had a scrapping withdrawal during the last month since there wasn't enough time or energy for me to get crafty. But when my relatives went to Paris for three days and we had the house to ourselves I just HAD to clear my dining table and scrap, scrap, scrap!

First off I took out my Echo Park paper packs - it's not usual for me to purchase an actual whole paper pack but with Echo Park you can't go wrong. Everything just coordinates nicely even if you don't add anything outside of what's available in the package.

Anyway to start off I used the 'Little boy' collection pack which I purchased at CCW. I created 3 LOs. The papers are perfect and went well with the pictures I intended to use.

Next off I used the 'Life is good' collection and created this LO of my mom and her sisters at the beach with my grandma on Mother's day. I love complete family pics such as this and couldn't resist scrapping it. Lucky for me Facebook is available for my family to share what's been going on back home so I don't really miss out on anything (apart from me actually being there!)

I've also used the same collection to create this LO of me and my husband in Hyde Park. The picture was taken by my friend who visited last March. Since there's only us here, it's rare that we get our picture taken properly apart from the usual self taken shots which thankfully I'm quite good at! LOL

Anyway those were the LOs I created using the awesome Echo Park and I'm happy to note the packs have reduced so much in size. I'm going to try and use up everything so maybe my next couple of cards will use up the small scrap pieces.

See you next time!

CCW Card Challenge

Hello all!

Been quiet around here huh? I have been creating some LOs but will share them in a later post. Anyway we have a new card challenge up and this time I'm so happy to note our new sponsors 2Cute!

The digis certainly live up to their name! Super duper cute images to work with!

Our theme for this week is 'bright and bold' which works well with the current lovely weather we're having (at least where I am it is!)

Here's the card I created.

Isn't that tortoise adorable?

Hope you join us for some card making fun!

P/s - We still have some family here with us and it's been fun having them over since the start of July but I've got to be honest - I'm knackered! I've been catching up on sleep and today (on a Saturday of all days) I woke up at 330am...guess I've slept enough huh?

See you soon!

CCW Card Challenge

Hi everyone!

I'm finally back to my so called regular daily routines after having my mum over for three weeks in June. Missing them though - the fun idle chats, the food, the pampering...Now I'm having relatives over for my cousin's graduation but they have a pretty tight schedule being here and there and I only see them for a few days before they go back.

Right on to the card challenge! This week's theme is 'For a teacher' and our sponsor is Whimsie Doodles. Do head over their shop because they have adorable digis! The lucky winner for this week will receive a $10 Gift Certificate to the Whimsie Doodles Online Store.

Anyway looks like most of the design team fell in love with the cute graduating owl! Here's my card -

Hope you join us for the challenge! Good luck!

Till next time.
