My Memories Suite Review and giveaway

Hello everyone!

Over the weekend, I got a chance to have a play with My Memories Suite digital scrapbooking software. I've dabbled with digital scrapbooking before but had a tough time with Photoshop so gave up after making a few pages.

Anyway, My Memories Suite is an award winning digital scrapbook software program that is extremely easy and fun to use! It's rated #1 by Amazon and TopTen reviews.

To be honest, I was skeptical at first because I am no tech genius but I was intrigued after seeing the lovely, lovely and did I mention lovely? designs on the website - www.mymemories.com

After downloading the software (which was pretty straightforward) I went on to create my first LO below.

I did a very simple one but loved it because after creating it I had no mess to clear! Of course I do love traditional scrapbooking still but this provides me a creative outlet on days when I'm not keen on taking out my supplies. I did this while lazing on the sofa with my son.

Excited on the outcome I carried on to create another LO and another and another! In a span of two days I was able to create 9 LOs! After getting the hang of it I went to the site and downloaded some freebies (which had a great range) and bought some other digikits and embellishments - I absolutely love love the word art ones! They make great titles and can complete the look of the LO in an instant!

There's a lot to choose from and the price range is great too - I'm certainly hooked! Here are some LO samples I made.

Crazy Card Challenge

And this time we've got Robyn's Fetish as our sponsor. The theme this time is 'Button it!' which I love because I do love me some button fun.

Anyway here's my card -

Love the cute kid reading since he looks like he's having a blast! I'm praying that my son will love books as much as I do (although I rarely read books anymore now - sad but true). Nevertheless I just love how the buttons pop off the page - they look like candy LOL

So I do hope you join us at CCW for this fun challenge!

Scrap Map Saturday

*EDITED*

Anyway our Scrap Map Saturday for September is up and I love it!

Hope you join us for some fun - I'm still working on mine though. We just celebrated Eid and even though we're far far far away from home, it's still fun because one of our best friends is here! Lots of catching up to do thus a bit distracted from my scrap table - do forgive me.

Oh before I go did I mention the winnings? A guest DT spot and also one of our awesome monthly kits!

I'll show my LO once I'm done!

See you soon!

CCW Card Challenge

Hello everyone!

We're back with a card challenge. Our sponsors this time are Bugaboo stamps.

and one lucky winner will get the prize below!

Our theme this week is 'Grandparents'. I went ahead and chose this cheeky chap since I thought of a grandson sending his grandparents a card saying he loves them even though he's a 'bit' naughty (maybe I can send this to my parents from my son since he's quite a handful! LOL).

I made a simple card with some basic stamping, wrapped some twine around the front and added a yummy peppermint looking button.

Hope you like it and hope you join us with our latest challenge!

See you soon!

It's a CCW card challenge again

And this time we're making cards for children!

Our sponsor this week is Stitchy Bear Stamps. I chose a cute little spidey and thought it would suit a birthday card for a boy.

I used some Cosmo Cricket papers again since the colours were bright and happy plus the numbers background was too cute to not use.

A winner will be chosen and will receive a selection of yummy digi images.

So I hope you do join us for some card making fun.

See you soon!

CCW Card Challenge

Hello again!

This time I'm going to show you the card I made for our card challenge this week. The theme is 'Birthday's' - I know you're all going to love that!

Our sponsors are The Crafty Pad and the digi image I used was this adorable teddy holding a huge heart!

Here's my take -

I went for a long shaped card and used some cute patterned papers from Cosmo Cricket's 'Joyride' collection. They had some really cute colours! I coloured the bear using my Promarkers and then used my nestabilities to cut out the doily shapes. I also used distress inks to reduce the stark white background of my image.

Anyway hope you join us for the card challenge this week! And hope my mojo will stay with me because I need to use up some stash so I won't feel guilty when I get me some new Summer CHA goodies! Have you seen them?! Absolutely delicious LOL!

Till then!

It's Saturday!

And we have a double whammy with crafty coolness at CCW!

There's been a change in our challenges and starting this month there's going to be only one Scrapbook challenge a month - so more time for submissions and a great chance to win some goodies!

Anyway for this month we have this sketch to base our LOs on -

and here's my take -

I'll admit that it did stump me for awhile on how to actually carry out the LO. Could be my mojo trying to run away, could be the papers I was using or maybe I'm just tired since we're in the fasting month right now.

Hope your mojo is with you so come on over and have a go with the layout challenge here.

I'll be back real soon with our weekly card challenge!
