Hello!
Hope the long weekend brings some sunshine or at least more scrapping time for me whee!
Sue has created this sketch for us to play with.
I came up with this layout (rotated the sketch) using the ever so gorgeous Amerian Crafts, Dear Lizzy Neapolitan collection (one of my absolute fave this year!)
No there's nothing wrong with the screen, the photos did capture the sunshine on that one sunny but very cold weekend a few weeks back! Decided to take out little one to the park and have a go with some bubbles! Lots of fun!
Hope you come and join us for the Scrap Map!
Do visit here for more inspiration from our DT and GDT!
See you soon!

I'm back
Sincere apologies from moi on the sudden hiatus.
It's just that we've had to move to a new apartment (with really short notice) so you can imagine the flurry of activity I was in. We've sort of settled in the new place now (at least my craft room's ready lol)
Anyway to catch up on things, I'm sure you've seen the DTs lovely creations for the April mini kit and also the new April scrap map is up (you can view it at the top right corner there). I also had the opportunity to work with the lovely, lovely April kit.

The papers are from Pink Paislee's 'Prairie Hill' collection and oh how I love them! The muted colours with added vintage flair was perfect to go with black and white photos OR with muted coloured photos that you can easily edit with a lot of available apps =)
Here's one I particularly like -

If you're a subscriber, hope you have fun with the kit!
You can also purchase these bargain kits (at only £9.99) as one-offs too. They provide just the ample amount of paper, cardstock and embellishments to gear up your mojo - love that!
I have a couple of layouts to share so hopefully I'll be back soon!
Don't forget to join in on the challenges here.
Till then =)

March Scrap Map
Good morning everyone!
It's time for to reveal the scrap map for March.

I had trouble initially with the hearts LOL but in the end I quite liked what I came out with!

I used some masks from Heidi Swapp and painted around the heart with Mr Huey's Overdue using a paintbrush.
Then I made some ink splatters here and there, also using Mr Huey's.
After adding embellishments I wanted to write some song lyrics but my writing was obscured by the design of the paper so gesso came to the rescue! You can also use white paint.
Voila! Layout done!
Do join us for some sketch fun! You can see more layouts from my other awesome DT members here.
Btw have you visited the shop lately? There's tonnes of gorgeous gorgeous new Winter CHA stuff coming in and I for one have been very bad with restraining myself LOL Go check it out! Trust me, you'll love what you see!
See you soon!

Scrap Map Saturday
*EDITED*
Anyway our Scrap Map Saturday for September is up and I love it!

Hope you join us for some fun - I'm still working on mine though. We just celebrated Eid and even though we're far far far away from home, it's still fun because one of our best friends is here! Lots of catching up to do thus a bit distracted from my scrap table - do forgive me.
Oh before I go did I mention the winnings? A guest DT spot and also one of our awesome monthly kits!
I'll show my LO once I'm done!
See you soon!

It's Saturday!
And we have a double whammy with crafty coolness at CCW!
There's been a change in our challenges and starting this month there's going to be only one Scrapbook challenge a month - so more time for submissions and a great chance to win some goodies!
Anyway for this month we have this sketch to base our LOs on -
and here's my take -
I'll admit that it did stump me for awhile on how to actually carry out the LO. Could be my mojo trying to run away, could be the papers I was using or maybe I'm just tired since we're in the fasting month right now.
Hope your mojo is with you so come on over and have a go with the layout challenge here.
I'll be back real soon with our weekly card challenge!
